This is a great in-person training for adults to enhance their knowledge in leading troops into the great outdoors. The course will follow and expand upon the BSA’s national curriculum. Adult leaders will be fully trained, upon the completion of the online portion of IOLS and this in-person course.
Friday, May 3rd, beginning at 6pm until Saturday, May 4th, 5pm, leaders will participate in a full range of learning, activities and fun. This event is being held at Norseland Scout Camp, located near St. Peter. There is not a cost for Twin Valley Council leaders (you must still register) and for Out of Council leaders cost is $40.
Participants will be camping overnight outdoors on Friday as part of the training. You are more than welcome to stay overnight Saturday, upon conclusion of the class, if you wish.
Please eat before arriving at camp Friday night.
Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided.
Plan on providing your own personal tent to use together with your personal gear including a mess kit.
