This class, taught by Jason Schmierer with Flat Branch Home Loans and Ben Gosz, with Chicago Title will be an overview/ introduction to manufactured and modular homes. With home affordability and all-time lows, these types of properties are becoming more prevalent in our county. This is a great class to become familiar with both financing and title nuances associated with manufactured and/or modular homes. We will discuss the topics below:

• Discussion on financing options available for buyers of manufactured and modular homes.
• Dive into the details on the loan process for manufactured homes
• Insights into zoning regulations and market trends impacting the popularity and acceptance of these homes.

Title/ Closing:

• Examine two different scenarios in which title companies can accomodate closings/ transfer of title for these types of properties.
• We will discuss scheduling closing, bringing funds to close, how to read a settlement statement and the rest of the documents presented at closing.
