Description:Mantrailing as a recreational activity serves as an exciting hide-and-seek game for both, dogs and their owners.
It offers mental and physical stimulation for dogs, nurtures their genetic abilities, and fosters a strong bond between them and their owners.
This workshop will cover the following topics:
Theory:
- Understanding Mantrailing
- Essential equipment
- Odor sources for dogs
- Learning by self discovery
- Tiered training
- Handler behavior on the trail
Practice:
- Linking scent article, scent trail and person
- Initial short trail exercises
- Leash handling
- Trail laying
- Individual training for each dog!
What you need:
- Enjoyment of trying something new with your dog
- A dog - no age limits, we train from 9 weeks up to any age
- Weatherproof clothing if rainy weather
-Bring your harness and leash, but don't buy anything for this workshop
- No obedience required!
About me:
I teach a wide variety of trailing teams including:
- Special operations units of the US Armed Forces
- Canine units of several NATO countries
- Police special units in China, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic
- Search and rescue dog organizations and teams across various countries.
- Private trailing teams for fun all over Europe.

Continuing training (after the workshop):
Participating in this workshop provides a seamless transition into our regular weekly training sessions.
Your schedule stays flexible since we offer training from Wednesday to Sunday.
The groups consist of maximum 4 teams and the timeframe is about 2 hours.
