Introduction to Mantrailing! This unique opportunity will teach you the theory and skills needed to go Mantrailing with your dog for fun! Mantrailing is teaching your dog to find a person using their unique scent! (for fun only).
You must take an introductory course to do any general Mantrailing course! Continuing Mantrailing can take you to different levels and challenges!
You will need:
*a dog
*crate (dogs will be in crates when not trailing for safety. Dogs need to comfortable in a crate or car when not trailing)
*water bowl
*3 scent articles, each in a large zip lock plastic bag (i.e glove, hat, bandana)
*3-6 pocket size Tupperware containers or snack sized zip lock bags
*high value treats for your dog (ham, steak, tuna, etc.)
*30' long line
*standard 6' leash
* gloves
*boots
* properly fitted back clip body harness (preferably one your dog has no associations with and, "Y" style). Your dog's every day collar or harness. (no prongs, shocks or chokes, please)
*a desire to have fun!
