About this Event

ISO31000 RISK MANAGEMENT STANDARD

ISO 31000 is an international standard for Risk Management that provides a set of principles, a Risk Management framework, and processes that helps organizations take a proactive approach to risks they face. ISO 31000 helps organizations to develop, implement and continuously improve a framework that aims to integrate Risk Management strategies into the overall organizational processes, including decision-making.

This international standard is important if you are interested in providing comprehensive guidelines that will help your organization strengthen its indecision-making process and overall management. ISO 31000 is intended to simplify governing complex situations requiring crucial decisions towards a structured approach to identifying and evaluating risks.

ABOUT THIS TRAINING

All organizations face uncertainty in meeting their objectives. But with sound risk management, you can add value and protect your organization. That’s where ISO 31000, the best practice risk management guidelines, can help.

The internet of things, artificial intelligence, climate change, and geopolitical instability are just a few examples of why (the lack of) risk management training is now (I believe) a societal and global vulnerability that needs to be addressed urgently.

As a proven methodology, ISO31000 risk management provides a systematic framework and process for maximizing areas where outcomes can be controlled while minimizing the impact when the outcome cannot be predicted. This one-day training course will enable you to understand risk management, learn about ISO 31000 and get the foundation you need to start managing your organization’s risks effectively.

This course enables participants to apply ISO31000 Risk Management Guideline in their organization. The training is based on the ISO 31000:2018 risk management standard, which can be used by organizations of any size, any industry, and any sector.
