Learn how to use fair trade Indian wood blocks in a friendly, relaxed setting. This workshop is for people new to the craft of wood block printing or for those looking to enhance their experience.We start the afternoon practising our printing technique on paper and fabric using a variety of designs and paint colours. When you are happy with your choices, you can then print your items to take home with you. During the afternoon you will be able to print greetings cards and a small fabric zip bag, as well as a choice of a tote bag or tea towel. You will be supported at each step of the way by Eleanor, the owner of Creative Planet, who is a The Indian Block Print Company certified trainer.
This workshop is suitable for for adults and young people aged 12 and over. Your price includes all materials and equipment and a hot drink and cake.
