Introductory Ice Dye class that will teach you how to ice dye and blend colors to create unique pieces of wearable art!

Ready to Dye?

Learn how to create a mosaic piece of wearable art with fiber reactive dye.

Using ice with dye allows for unpredictable patterns and unexpected color combinations.

I will walk you through the process step by step.

This workshop includes a 90 minute introductory class with access to Somebody’s Gotta Dye studio and dye collection.

You can bring 2 small items (t-shirt, socks, pillowcase,etc.)


1 (sweatshirt, sweatpants, or hoodie)

Participants will be sent the studio location, and FAQ detailing what to wear/bring a few days before the class.

Workshop includes:

Introduction to powder dye over ice.

Teaching you the technique of how to create “your” unique pattern design.

Step by step instructions with a live demo.

The supplies necessary for ice dye: fiber reactive dye, soda ash, and ice.

Light refreshments will be served during the workshop.

Q&A session.
