This course is an introduction to the principles of horticulture, in preparation for the City & Guilds Level 1 in horticulture.Learning outcomes include:
Develop employability skills toward working in parks / gardens and green spaces
Gain an understanding of key horticulture principles
Learn how to grow and care for plants
The course will run – every Thursday – 19th September – 3rd October 2024.
This course is open to eligible learners aged 19 years plus (in August ’24) with few or no qualifications with an interest in working in green spaces
