This year we have 4 weeks of Introduction to Horses and Riding.
June 3 - 7
June 17 - 21
June 24 - 28
July 15 - 19
Each week the times are from 8 a.m. till 3 p.m. All ages can enjoy this fun filled week of learning more about horses including nutrition, grooming, tack, and horse health, as well as to learn and improve individual riding skills. Daily riding with a qualified instructor. Participants will work on walking and trotting skills in the arena and on trails getting to experience both english and western disciplines. Long pants and a boot with a small heel are recommended; but sneakers will work if they do not have boots. Campers will need to bring a lunch each day; refrigerators are available. There will be a fun horse show on Friday at 2 p.m.; weather permitting; so the campers can show family and friends what they have learned. Introduction to Horses and Riding camp is $425 for the week.
