About this Event
Discover your hidden talents for creating and transforming glasss into almost anything you wish
Your workshop will start with a brief introduction to glass, and the techniques used in safely handling and cutting. After a brief practice session and under our guidance you will be encouraged to create anything you wish from the material available.
PARKING After 18:00 parking is free in Robertson Street and surrounding area with spaces around the one way loop. Carlisle Parade or Priory Street (behind ESK) have paid parking, both about 5 minutes’ walk from Robertson Street.
WHAT YOU NEED
All materials and equipment are provided, so please just remember to bring yourself. Youwill be using super glue, glass cleaner and glass cutting. We suggest you wear closed footwear (in case of any glass shards from cutting).
COVID: face masks to your personal preference. The venue is well ventilated and spacious.
REFRESHMENTS
Your course includes one hot or cold drink. Other refreshments and cake! are available from the Cake Room directly throughout the course.
FUSING (Optional) On the day of your workshop we will offer to fuse your work at our studio and return to you within 7 days. We charge £15 including postage for this, it is entirely optional.
