Introduction to Family Violence (On-Site at The Today Centre)

This introductory workshop is ideal for service providers and front-line agency staff who want to better understand the basics of family violence, or would like a refresher.

Participants will examine the types of violence, discuss the roles of power and coercive control, recognize barriers to support, and gain skills to more effectively respond to disclosures. Information on community resources will also be shared.

As this workshop is on-location at our community office, you have the option of staying for a tour of our facilities and learning more about our client support process afterwards.
