When kids are well-prepared to start their own business, they learn critical life skills for future success.About this Event
This exceptional program targets young entrepreneurs eager to learn how to build and market their own products. From ideation to the big pitch! The program will end in May 2023 with a showcase and the opportunity to win prizes including $500 for first place.
Open to both girls and boys in grades 7 - 12(Virtual and in-person monthly sessions )
In-Person Workshop Sessions: Second Saturday each month at DDP Offices - 3420 Acworth Due West Road; Suite B, Kennesaw, GA 30144
Time: 10:00 am - 11:15 am
Each session is designed to be interactive between the facilitator, students, and volunteers. Session topics include:
- Introduction to Entrepreneurship
- Team Building
- Product Design and Pricing
- Marketing & Advertising
- Negotiation Strategies
- Legal Building Blocks
- Communication Skills
- Public Speaking
