This engaging and interactive, face-to-face course is designed for aspiring artists of all ages who have a passion for creativity but might not know where to start. Whether you're picking up a pencil for the first time or rekindling a long-lost hobby, this course is the perfect way to dive into the world of drawing. Embark on your artistic journey with us and discover the joy and satisfaction of drawing. No prior experience is necessary – just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. We look forward to helping you unlock your creative potential! Drawing is not only a skill but a fantastic way to relax, express yourself, and explore new ideas.

Your will be guided step-by-step to build your skills and confidence, focusing on subjects like composition, techniques and sketching:

• Analyse examples of good drawing of different artists
• Understand basic drawing techniques, including line, shape, form, and shading.
• Learn the essentials of creating depth and accurate proportions in your drawings.
• Explore various drawing tools and materials, from graphite pencils to charcoal and ink.
• Develop your unique style
• Complete several exercises a final project

Please bring:

• An HB and B pencil (or a set of graphite pencils)
• Pencil crayon
• Watercolour pencils
• A4 paper pad

The art materials are to be discussed during the first session of the course when the tutor will cover the topic.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
