Get inspired by the art in our galleries and learn to create with crochet! Together, we’ll survey the basics of the craft like creating a chain, forming a single crochet, and making granny squares. After mastering these foundations, we’ll try our hand at more advanced techniques like double crochet and a magic ring. We will investigate the use of fibers in the galleries and will also discuss yarn bombing as we delve into the ever-growing intersection of craft and contemporary art. From here, we’ll be ready to design our own projects and work independently using our new skills.
