Introduction to Creative Coding

This workshop introduces attendees to computational art through open-source creative coding application p5.js.

Art created through coding is seen everywhere from concerts, to data visualisation, to sci-fi films.

This workshop is suitable for beginners, and may be of interest to anyone from a creative or computer science background, or anyone who's just curious!

This workshop will be delivered in-person at CREW's Creative Enterprise & Innovation Hub in Galway. It is encouraged for attendees to open a p5.js account (https://editor.p5js.org/) to save their progress during the workshop.

Please bring a laptop (preferred) or smartphone with you to join the tutorial, as p5.js is accessed through a browser.

The workshop is facilitated by Michaela Murphy, a creative coding hobbyist and 3D Visualiser and Animator with her studio Iguaion Media.
