Copperplate is a traditional calligraphy script written with a pointed nib and a sound basis for more modern and expressive styles.
In this friendly and informal workshop, calligrapher Angela Reed will help you get to grips with using a dip pen and ink, before guiding you through the basic strokes required to form lower and upper case letters and join them together to create beautifully handwritten words.
The £45 ticket price includes a starter kit for you to use during the session and take him with you afterwards so you can continue your practice. Refreshments will also be provided.
