About this Event
Doing Democracy Differently is our new series of events exploring how Scotland could make political decisions in ways that work better for people and the planet, starting with Citizens' Assemblies.
This event is for 18–35 year olds who don’t feel represented in current politics and want to explore alternatives. You don’t need to know anything about citizens’ assemblies - we’ll introduce the idea through real stories.
We’ll watch The People vs Climate Change, a BBC documentary following people who took part in the UK’s first Climate Assembly. After the film, we’ll have small‑group conversations about what this approach could mean for Scotland and your local communities.
