Introduction to Cardiac Structural Intervention (ICSI-UK -2024)

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming "Introduction to Cardiac Structural Intervention (ICSI –UK: 2024)," which will take place on Friday, 15th November 2024, at the Marriot Nottingham Belfry. Organized by Dr. Ashan Gunarathne from Nottingham University Hospitals and coordinated by Sri Heart UK, this event has gained significant recognition over the past two years.

Our last conference, attended by 80 participants, received accolades for its high-quality content and practical simulator sessions for LAAO, Trans-septal puncture, Mitral, and TAVI procedures. We are proud to share that it was officially recognized by BCIS, and its success is evident on their website, contributing to widespread promotion.

The field of cardiac structural interventional procedures is rapidly evolving, with an expanding provision of therapies in the United Kingdom. Keeping pace with these advancements is crucial for Cardiologists, necessitating familiarity with novel therapeutic interventions, guidelines, evidence bases, and associated imaging techniques.

This course is thoughtfully designed for Interventional Consultants at early stages of their careers in structural interventions, Cardiology trainees, Interventional trainees, and allied health professionals interested in structural interventions. Attendees can expect in-depth education, hands-on simulations, and step-by-step instructions for common procedures. The course also focuses on building confidence in handling anatomical abnormalities using case- and simulation-based imaging, imparting valuable clinical skills.
