Introduction to Botanical Printing with Jacqueline Tsang
About this Event
Step into the world of botanical printing in this relaxed workshop with textile artist and eco-dyeing practitioner Jacqueline Tsang.
In this workshop, you’ll be introduced to the fundamentals of botanical printing, including plant selection, fabric preparation, composition and steaming techniques. Working with a carefully curated collection of locally foraged and seasonal botanicals—think eucalyptus, maple, grevillea, mānuka and other foliage—you’ll transform vintage 1980s Japanese silk into a uniquely printed scarf of your very own!
Suitable for beginners, and anyone with an interest in sustainable fashion, natural dyeing and creative reuse.
English workshop with Cantonese and Mandarin support available.粵語 國語 支持!
