Introduction to Boccia | Active West Lothian and SDS | 03-10-24 | Deans CHS

Active West Lothian are exciting to share our upcoming 'Introduction to Boccia' course for school staff, sports clubs and community volunteers from across West Lothian. This event is taking place from 4-5.15pm in Deans Community High School on Thursday October 3rd in partnership with Scottish Disability Sport (SDS).

Boccia is an inclusive, strategic target sport played with soft leather balls. It is similar to bowls but takes place from a seated position. Boccia can be used across all ages from children and adults.

The event will involve a mix of classroom and practical content – please bring appropriate kit/footwear to take part. We kindly ask that you notify our course organiser ([email protected]) if you require assistance to attend, or if you are unable to take part on the day.
