Introduction to Bladesmithing

In this hands-on bladesmithing class, you’ll learn the fundamentals of forging your own blade using traditional blacksmithing techniques. Guided by an experienced instructor, you’ll heat, hammer, and shape steel into a functional knife while gaining an appreciation for the craftsmanship behind the process. Safety is a top priority, so participants are required to wear closed-toed shoes and jeans to protect against sparks and hot metal. By the end of the class, you’ll walk away not only with a blade you forged yourself but also with the knowledge and confidence to continue exploring the art of bladesmithing.
