The Course:
In this introductory course you will learn the techniques to improve the use your camera for better bird photography. The classes cover everything from camera equipment, focusing techniques, photo composition, understanding bird behaviour to improve results, camera holding techniques, and common mistakes. Through our practical field trips learn how to find birds with one-to-one mentoring with Danny. This course includes hands on practical exercises and a field trip to apply techniques learnt in the studio.

Workshop dates and times: Saturday 9.30am - 4.30pm including afternoon field trip to Jerrabomberra Wetlands; Sunday 8.30am - 4.00pm; including morning field trip to Majura Park.
Venue: NatureArt Lab, M16 Artspace, 21 Blaxland Crescent, Griffith, ACT
Experience/Pre-requisites: This is an adult beginner to intermediate level photography course using your own equipment. You should be familiar with the basic operation and settings of your own equipment.
Equipment: DSLR Camera (or similar), preferably with telephoto or zoom lens.
