Introduction to Basic Photography, The 8 Week Winter Course

We have been asked to create a complete photography course for beginners. This 8 week course is designed for folks with a camera. The study of photography is the studio of light, what you want to use to capture that light is up to you.

So we are pleased to offer you a cost effective way to learn photography from the ground up with proven techniques with a professional photographer in his studio, in Baltimore, MD.

This course will meet weekly, but alternate between in person at the studio or on location and ZOOM online meetings (lecture, completed projects, image critiques) where we fine tune your understanding so you can.

The schedule looks like this:

• Sunday, 02/16/25 10am - In Studio Hands-On Training/Light Study
• Sunday, 02/23/25 10am - ZOOM Homework Critique/Lecture
• Sunday, 03/02/25 10am - In Studio Hands-On Training/Light Study
• Sunday, 03/09/25 10am - ZOOM Homework Critique/Lecture
• And so on....

This course will have you learning and working in a studio environment and on location with real world situations to manage. There is a course syllabus with home work assignments you will have two weeks to complete as well. Yes back to school, for photographic art!

This course offers a pace that gives you time understand, practice and grow as an up and coming photographer. So when you had enough of YouTube and listening to the person who has been shooting a little longer than you join us. ;)

In order to get the best results we do not recommend joining the course late. We will offer this course again and again.

On the first day of class you will get the syllabus, weekly agenda to help guide your learning to be more efficient. You are welcomed to purchase your own photography course material / reference book as well.

This will be a small classroom setting with a max of 5 people with a lead instructor and his assistant. You will also be working with models and learning how to pose your subjects for your goals. So a great professional learning environment to excel in.

There is a payment plan available if needed. Get the ticket titled deposit, we will send you an invoice you can pay in full by Sunday, March2nd 2025.
