Introduction to American Sign Language, Level I, Starts May 2, 2026

Welcome to the Introduction to American Sign Language!

Join us for a fun and interactive in-person event where you can learn the basics of American Sign Language. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to brush up on your skills, this session is perfect for you.

Our event will be held in person or Zoom at 704 Grand St, where you'll have the opportunity to practice signing with others and gain a better understanding of this beautiful language. Each session consists of 6 classes. We meet every Saturday in Bergen-Lafayette Jersey City starting Saturday, May 2, 2026 to June 6, 2026.

Info: We will learn how to finger spell, understanding basic signs, importance of facial expressions, body language and how it ties into sign language, sentence structure, and culture.
