Welcome to The Story Studio at Gather — a brand-new weekly read–make–play experience designed for children ages 2–5 and their caregivers! Each session brings a beloved storybook to life through hands-on art, sensory play, and social connection in a warm, welcoming environment. Check out our Fall Schedule below!
🎉 For our very first class, we’re diving into the hilarious Dragons Love Tacos by Adam Rubin. Get ready for dragons, tacos, and silly fun as we:
📖 Read: A lively, interactive storytime🎨 Make: 3D dragons + wearable dragon wings🎨 Create: Taco-themed arts & crafts🎭 Play: “Feed the Dragon” sensory play station with Play-Doh tacos🍉 Snack Time: Complimentary themed fresh fruit snack🏰 Take Home: Play-Doh taco-making kit + all their creations
🧠 Developmental Benefits
Every Story Studio class is designed to nurture early childhood growth. In Week 1, kids will:
- Build fine motor skills through painting, gluing, and shaping 3D dragons + taco crafts
- Strengthen creativity & problem-solving by designing their own dragon wings and imaginative artwork
- Develop language & listening during interactive storytime and group participation
- Grow social-emotional skills through cooperative play at the sensory stations
- Encourage imaginative role play by wearing their dragon wings and acting out the story
👶 Recommended Age
Ideal for children ages 2–5. Parent or caregiver attendance is required.This is not a drop-off class — we encourage you to play alongside your little artist!

- $35 for first child (first time/introductory class)
