Introducing the Advocacy Development Fund

We are holding an information event about a new fund for local community groups who want to develop advocacy services.

This funding will help you to learn about advocacy, this will add to your service delivery, volunteering or training, and you can share this with the people you support.

Advocacy is speaking up for yourself and others. It's understanding your rights, your choices and getting your voice heard.

We want to help community groups in Leeds to deliver advocacy.

We want to help you take advocacy to those who don’t know about advocacy and don’t access advocacy.

The funding is from The Advonet Group, the advocacy provider in Leeds. Grants of between
£1,000 and £10,000 will be awarded (a total of of £25,000 is available this year).

There will be refreshments and a vegan lunch provided.
