Introducing Solids WorkshopNourish Your Baby with Confidence and Care
Discover the Joy of Baby Weaning where food becomes more than nourishment; it’s an exploration, a bonding moment, and a foundation for lifelong healthy eating.
My two-hour Introduction to Solids Workshops are designed to guide parents and grandparents through this exciting stage with confidence and reassurance.
Led by myself, these sessions provide a relaxed, supportive environment to help you and your baby enjoy the weaning journey together.
Why Chose Introducing Solids Workshop?
Introducing solids to your baby is a key milestone in your baby’s growth a time filled with curiosity, learning, and connection, and let's be truthful - quite a frightening thought for many parents.
Through evidence-based guidance and hands-on demonstrations, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to support your baby’s development while creating joyful mealtime memories.
You’ll learn about:
* Infant-Led Weaning: Encourage your baby’s independence as they explore food at their own pace.
* Safe Eating Practices: Understand how to introduce new textures safely, reduce choking risks, and create positive feeding habits.
* Healthy Nutrition: Discover first foods that nourish your baby’s body and brain.
* Responsive Feeding: Learn to recognise hunger and fullness cues to build trust and enjoyment at mealtimes.
What Makes My Classes Unique?
Each class is thoughtfully designed to provide both expert guidance and a welcoming community:
* Midwife-Led Expertise: Receive professional, evidence-based advice on baby feeding, safety, and nutrition.
* Hands-On Learning: Watch demonstrations, explore textures, and taste simple, nutritious foods suitable for your baby.
* Comprehensive Handouts: Take home detailed resources and recipes to support your weaning journey.
* Free Weaning Cup: Each couple receives a baby-friendly training cup to get you started.
* Parent & Grandparent Friendly: Everyone involved in your baby’s care is welcome — consistency and shared learning make the journey smoother for all.
* Relaxed, Supportive Environment: Small groups allow plenty of time to ask questions, share experiences, and connect with others.
* I also do a refresher on how to help a choking baby during this class too using manikins.
