Introducing Forest Sense at Rushmere Country Park
Thurs 25th June (10am–12)
For adults with learning disabilities and moderate support needs (19+)
Led by Collar & Cuffs Co, award-winning Sensory Heritage specialists.
A gentle, sensory-led way to spend time in the woods. Slow, calm, and shaped around you.
Designed for adults with learning disabilities and their carers/keyworkers.
No pressure. No expectations.
Just time to be together in the forest.
Makaton signing and Widgit symbol support in all sessions
Important information:
- Spaces £5 per adult with learning difficulties including accompanying carer
- No dogs please
- Key workers/carers to be present and join in
- There will be a walk of approx. 250m over unsurfaced terrain with grass, sandy soil, deep leaf litter, uneven ground.
- Disabled parking, no height barriers (parking charges apply)
- Accessible toilet by Radar key (from visitor centre reception) with left hand transfer, with shower.
- Changing Places at Parsons Green Rec Leighton Buzzard 3 miles away.
