In this introduction to Woodworking class, you'll have the opportunity to build a beautiful end table from solid Mahogany. Designed for beginner woodworkers, this course offers a comprehensive introduction to woodworking. This is a two day class. You'll learn the fundamentals of wood science, basic joinery methods and the importance of accuracy in construction. The class will also cover essential tool safety, tool anatomy, and basic calibration techniques. You'll gain hands-on experience with a variety of tools, including the planer, jointer, table saw, band saw, and drum sander as your craft your own custom end table. . The class spans two consecutive days but may end early due to class progression, and all materials are included in the cost. Please ensure your attire is woodworking appropriate; no jewelry, no sweatshirts with strings, and closed-toed shoes are required. Long hair must be tied back. Teens and adults are welcome to join.
