We will go over the tools available for drawing shapes, how to import an SVG file, and what speeds and feed rates are best for different materials. We'll also talk about different kinds of bits that are available and their best uses. You'll get hands-on experience with the XCarve machine itself and cover best practices for clamping material to the wasteboard, how to change bits in the router, and safe machine operation.
