Clinician Laura Clarry: Laura has been competing regularly in Working Equitation for the past six years and has already earned her USAWE Pewter and Bronze Lifetime Rider medals. In addition to training with some of the top WE clinicians in the Northwest, Laura recently returned from an intensive learning experience in Portugal (the birthplace of Working Equitation), where she rode with four different instructors, including two who have trained European and World Champion WE riders and horses. Laura has experience as a scribe, which, along with shadowing judges, technical delegates, and scorers in licensed shows, has given her great technical insight into the sport. In 2026, Laura plans to gain her Professional Instructor designation in USAWE (Basic Level) as well as begin the USDF 'L' Program. Laura competes with her horse Bésame, a 14 year old PRE that she adopted from Sound Equine Options in 2023.
Tamarind Ranch: is committed to hosting a variety of Schooling Shows and Clinics throughout the year. Our focus at Tamarind Ranch is to create a comfortable environment that fosters learning, practice, and encourages continual growth for humans and equines. We strive to create a culture that is: supportive, a place where it is ok not to know, encouraged to ask questions and safe to make mistakes. We want our guests to come here to experience something new, gain knowledge and leave with more confidence and understanding then when they arrived.
Working Equitation "WE": is unique and distinct from other equine sports because it promotes the distinctive equestrian traditions, tack, and attire of all cultures and nations within every competition. No matter what the outfit, the sport of Working Equitation has at its heart the development of a harmonious horse-and-rider relationship. It does this through the disciplines of classical dressage and useful ranch work." https://usawe.org/
Thank you for your interest. We look forward to seeing you.
