Beginner Ukulele Class with Magie McGowan – SONIQLAB at MakerPark Radio

Always wanted to play the ukulele? This three-week beginner-friendly class is the perfect place to start! Taught by Magie McGowan, who played her uke in several bands around NYC, you’ll learn the basics of chords, strumming, and simple songs in a fun, welcoming environment. No experience needed—just bring a ukulele and get ready to play. *limited ukuleles available to borrow if you don’t own one.

Classes run on Thursdays 4/24, 5/1, and 5/8 from 7-9 PM

Ticket is good for al 3 classes!

Come learn, strum, and start making music!

Located at MakerSpace NYC - 450 Front Street - Unit A, Staten Island NY 10304. Take the free Staten Isand Ferry to the island. In the terminal take the subway (we only have one line), two stops to Stapletin, and wak 1.5 blocks! Entrance on Thompson next to the radio station window!
