Join the Iowa City Swing Dance club for a beginner-friendly introduction to swingouts! The swingout is a classic and iconic move of Lindy Hop, with many variations and stylizations.Thursday Lessons
Level 1 Swingout Lesson | 7:15 - 8:00 PM
Social Dance & Practice (all levels) | 8:00 - 8:30 PM
Level 2 Fast Dancing Lesson | 8:30 - 9:30 PM
$10 per evening | $5 student rate
This series starts on June 6th and ends on June 27th. We recommend attending the entire 4-lesson series because concepts and moves will build on each other throughout each lesson. However, drop-ins are welcome anytime, with the understanding that they may not get the most out of the lesson having missed prior lessons in the series.
Venue: If the front door is locked, we can now easily enter and exit PS1 Close House (538 S Gilbert Street, Iowa City) from the BACK door (the entrance with the ramp). Ring the doorbell when you arrive!
