Ready to get more comfortable working with a torch at the jewelry bench?
Join us at Tucson Jewelry School for Intro to Soldering, a hands-on class focused on torch safety and a variety of soldering techniques used for different jewelry applications.
Rather than centering on one specific finished project, this class is designed to help you build a foundation for connecting metal in future jewelry projects. You’ll spend time practicing techniques with instructor guidance while becoming more familiar with how soldering fits into jewelry making.
Intro to Soldering is Skill Level: Beginner and is designed for students who are curious about working with a torch and want to begin developing foundational soldering skills.
Your instructor, Kim St. Jean, is Tucson Jewelry School’s resident artist and has more than 25 years of experience teaching jewelry making. She’ll guide you through torch safety and the soldering techniques covered during class.
