Les Chevres & Beyond Sailing unite again to create our 2nd edition of 2-nighter sailing experience in Desolation Sound! Have you always wanted to experience spending a night on a sailboat surrounded by marine life and the ocean breeze? Interested in learning how to be a good crew member on a boat? Wondering how to make this dream come true? We created this ultimate trip just for you then!
Join us for a 3-day, 2 nights cruise with a certified instructor from Beyond Sailing who will show you the ropes of sailing in one of the most pristine areas of British Columbia. A true once in a life-time experience!
True to our DNA, we will conclude our first evening on the water with our Signature Apero and giveaways from our partners.

Here are the concepts that you will learn during the course:
- Basic boat check for seaworthiness.
- Review safety equipment location and use.
- Discuss basic safety when participating as a crew.
- Departure preparation of the boat.
- Departure from the dock as crew.
- Demonstrate safe behaviour while underway.
- Participate in steering and sail handling.
- Participate in the docking as a crew member.
- Participate in operations aimed at securing the boat before leaving it.
As usual, we will end this day on dry land with a little Apres!
