Reiki Healing Night is a is gathering where individuals come together to experience and participate in Reiki healing sessions. Reiki is a form of alternative therapy that originated in Japan and involves the channeling of energy through one's hands to promote healing, relaxation, and overall well-being. The healing night provides an introduction for those who are called to train further in the First Degree Reiki class. First Degree Reiki is more extensive and each individual who completes the class becomes "attuned or initiated" and will receive a First Degree Reiki certification. During a Reiki healing night, we start with grounding our energies by engaging in a meditation laying down on a yoga mat. The meditation allows one's mind and body to relax and become an observer or witness to one's experience. Individuals will use their own hands to move from the lower to upper chakras of the body. This experience allows one to embrace their energy bodies in a deeper manor allowing for peace and tranquility. Afterwards, we will make introductions and discuss our experience. We will also pair up with a partner to experience applying Reiki to one another and allow for healing energy to flow. The goal of a Reiki healing night is to promote balance, reduce stress, and support the body's natural ability to heal itself. Many people find Reiki beneficial and experience positive effects, its effectiveness may vary from person to person, and it is considered a complementary therapy rather than a replacement for conventional medical treatment.
