About this Event
Join us Sunday March 1st at 2:30PM to learn about the history of radical feminist thought and action in the colonial United States. We will discuss how liberal feminism fails the collective, ways to live our values, why intersectionality and abolition are essential parts of feminism, and the HOT BUTTON topic of SWERFs and TERFs. Come ready to be curious, learn, discuss, and make some feminist connects!
Discussion, even when it's difficult, is an important part of being in a community. In this space, we will respect one another and embrace nuance. What this DOESN'T mean: you have a platform to be hateful: that will not be tolerated.
There will be an option to continue the discussion after the event ends. For those feeling open to it, we will be walking across the street to Dulce Vida directly after to continue socializing. Everyone is welcome!
THE DATE ON THE FLYER IS WRONG. WE HAD TO RESCHEDULE FOR SUNDAY, MARCH 1ST.
