CLASS DESCRIPTION: Kids (Ages 12-15)
Make beats with code! Produce studio quality music while learning coding concepts. Participants will learn basics of Python while also making music with the online software Earsketch! Earsketch lets you bring music clips together to make your own multilayer track using simple python commands. This is a great way to get started in coding while having fun creating your own music! Participants will be given corded ear buds for use during class and to take home.
This class is a free class to City of Tacoma residents provided through Tacoma Creates.
