Intro to Premiere Pro with Jhonny Parks

Verso Studios is proud to announce its media production classes for Fall 2021! For everyone from beginners to professionals in Connecticut and the tri-state area.

Filmmaker and animator Jhonny Parks will be teaching Introduction to Adobe Premiere Pro in three two-hour classes over three weeks:

Thursday, October 14th, 4:00 - 6:00 pm

Thursday, October 21st, 4:00 - 6:00 pm

Thursday, October 28th, 4:00 - 6:00 pm

These classes are perfect for anyone ages 12+ who may be curious about the powerful go-to video editing software - ideal for artists, filmmakers, or those looking to acquire an added technical and highly desired skill on their resume.

Students will learn core Premiere Pro functions and will have the chance to apply their skills to create their own original content. Students will master Premiere Pro’s workspace layout, use of tools, video effects, importing and exporting of content, as well as understanding of file format and resolutions. By the end of the course, the students will have enough Premiere Pro knowledge to create projects on their own.

Registration is open with a one-time $25 registration fee; space is limited. The class will be offered in-person OR remotely if preferred. Please come to the class with your own personal laptop with Adobe Premiere Pro installed (a free monthly trial is available on the Adobe website).
