Intro to Power BI for Oil & Gas Technical Functions

Who this is for: Engineers, Geoscientists, Technicians, Data Analytics pros, and others who are interested in using Power BI for reporting and analytics solutions on oil and gas datasets. Also a good fit for functions such as operations or finance that deal a lot with production and well data. Our Intro to Power BI classes are designed for current Excel or Spotfire users that are new to Power BI (generally <40 hrs hands-on experience).

Course objectives:

1. Fundamental understanding of and competence with Power BI capabilities
2. Real O&G use cases for exercises, with data like a Daily Production/Pressures and Well-level Completion/Performance
3. Excitement about (and knowledge of) where to go next

Why us: We're a team with a decade or more doing work in a number of disciplines in-house at E&P companies. We also happen to think Power BI is a really good solution for a lot of companies as a powerful, IT-friendly, cost-effective enterprise Business Intelligence tool.
