About this event

Intro to Portraiture and Oil Painting:

In this 4 week course we will review :

1. The basics of drawing the human face and all of it's features.
2. The basics of oil paints and how to go about using oils in a painting.
3. Putting all of it together each guest will paint a portrait with guidance and direction from our professional teaching artist.

This course was designed specifically for individuals who have been wanting to learn more about creating portraits and/or where to begin with painting with oil paints.

We will meet once a week from 6-7:30pm for four total sessions with the goal of creating a finished portrait by the end of the month.

Time: Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the time scheduled. If you feel you may arrive later than 15 minutes or later is advised to reschedule as you may have a hard time catching up on your own.
