This course of instruction is designed around the introduction to pistol mounted optics for Law Enforcement and Civilian Defensive Use. Although the optic on a handgun is not new technology, competitive shooters have been using them since the 90’s, the concept has gained traction due to the advantages they provide. Have you purchased the optic and firearm and want to start the learning process, this class is for you.This course of instruction will assist in answering questions regarding the advantages of the RDS on a handgun and their practical application.
Cost: The cost of the course is $125.00. A $15.00 Range Fee is required and payable to Crossroads Shooting Sports the day of the course.
Student/Class Requirements:
Reliable Handgun with PMO attached
PMO Capable Holster and magazine pouch
Eye Protection / Hearing Protection (electronic preferred)
300 rounds of ammunition
Course Objectives:
Safety and Medical Plan
Various Optics/Sights Mounting Options Maintenance of the PMO
Zero of Pistol Mounted Optic (PMO)
Finding the dot, tracking the dot
Registration Policy and Terms: Due to the unknown nature of scheduling, along with maintaining a minimum student count, a 50% refund will be given if you cancel your registration for any reason prior the event start date. If Valiant Training Solutions cancels the event, a FULL refund will be given. You may transfer your registration to another student but please email [email protected] with the new registrant’s name and email and the order number attached. Thank you and see you on the range! REMINDER: Range Fees may be extra and can range from $10 to $25 depending on the range location and host. Be prepared to pay these fees on the first day of class.
Note: Students should have a basic understanding of firearms safety and safe handling prior to attending this course.
