Intro to Musical Improv *Free* Drop-In Class

Musical Improv or Songprov is an exciting way to take your improv to the next level… with improvised song & dance! Stomping Ground Comedy Theater is offering this free drop in class so that you can see what all the fun is about! Participants will play fun warm up games and be introduced to basic musical improv concepts through enjoyable and low-risk exercises! This is a free, two hour *in-person* & socially distanced drop-in class–no prior performance experience is required to join in the fun! Whether you’re new to improv or have years of experience, this class will have students moving and singing together to the music in no time!

This course will focus on:

• Just Sing!
• Moving with the Music
• Having a Strong POV
• Building Chords
• Creating Group Support Through Song and Movement

This is a one time in-person drop in class held Saturday, June 19th from 3-5pm. The instructors are Greg Mihalik & Josh Diamond. All sales are final. Classes are non-refundable but enrollment can be deferred to a future class. All students must adhere to policies in the Stomping Ground Student Handbook. Must be 18 years or older. Must have a mask or other PPE, subject to instructor approval, to attend. Class sizes will be limited to allow for proper distance between individuals. Classes will be scheduled to allow for ample time for cleaning and sanitizing before a new group of students enters the space.
