Intro to Mushroom Foraging

This class is designed for beginner foragers who are interested in starting their mushroom foraging journey, but don't know where to start, or don't yet feel confident enough to head out into the field. Students will leave with a better understanding of foraging etiquette, safety practices, what mushrooms to look for, where to find them, and how to identify their finds.

Street parking only, plan to arrive a little early to find a spot.

What to bring:

• Water
• Snacks
• Camp chair
• Plate/bowl, cup & fork/spoon
• Notebook & pen (if you like to take notes)

BIPOC Scholarships are provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please keep these spots open if you do not identify as BIPOC or are able to pay for a ticket.
