In person workshops are BACK and we're taking them outdoors! Learn the art of Modern Calligraphy with Angi of Angelique, Ink in this three hour workshop, where you'll explore and practice the tools and proper techniques of modern pointed pen calligraphy, from basic pen strokes to constructing an alphabet, styling and composition, so you can walk away with everything you need for developing your skill and style. Each student will receive a complete take-home calligraphy supply kit, curated by Angi which includes: an oblique pen holder, 2 steel nibs, a bottle of ink and hand-crafted inkwell, clipboard, practice paper, and her instructional guide book with alphabet templates and styling tips + some other goodies.This is a really fun, no-pressure workshop for anyone interested in learning a new skill, picking up a fun hobby, artist looking to try a new technique/medium, or just something fun to do with friends. Suitable for beginners, those who have never picked up a calligraphy pen before, or if it's been a while and you want to brush up on your skills and learn modern styling.
Space is limited and Covid-19 guidelines will be observed with extra precautions taken. Please read all of the guidelines on the website when registering. Registration in advance is required.
