About this Event
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
This workshop is aimed toward artists, creatives & arts workers, whether freelance or an employee, who want to acquire a deeper knowledge and develop skills when it comes to intercultural competence, engaging across lines of difference and advancing diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
This workshop will explore understandings of equality, diversity and inclusion in the context of intercultural competence such as the ability to effectively engage across lines of difference.
Participants will have the opportunity to examine the various terminology, perceptions, strategies and practical tools when embracing intercultural competence in a workplace environment.
Throughout this session we will provide you with valuable insights and tools, developing an understanding of ways to optimise intercultural competence to enhance your cultural intelligence.
The workshop will include:
- An introduction to social psychological perspectives of equality, diversity, and inclusion within the framework of intercultural competence.
- Deardoff’s A.S.K Method for understanding intercultural competence in a workplace setting.
- Tips for Intercultural Management with practical examples.
