We'll teach you the basics needed to go to a climbing wall as an independent user, covering some or all of the topics below:
Introduction to climbing wall safety
Harnesses, their types and putting them on
Introduction to ropes and attaching to them
Belaying and the belay system
Climbing movement technique
What's included:
Fully qualified and experienced Rock Climbing Instructors to teach you
Instruction on basic rope techniques
Instruction on climbing technique
Climbing harness
Climbing Shoes - most centres make you climb in trainers which really makes it hard!
Admission fee to the climbing wall each night of the event
Digital pictures and videos of your day so you can remember it forever
What to bring:
A completed Health Declaration & Registration Form - see footer of page for link
Any medication you may need
Loose and comfortable gym type clothing for climbing in
Bottle of water and high energy snack - you will need it!
