Intro to Improv Workshop (July)

Looking for an opportunity to stretch that delightful, creative brain of yours? The Hurt [email protected] welcomes you to participate in Intro to Improv where we’ll discover some of the basic building blocks of improvisation through playful group games. Concepts such as “Yes, And,” staying present, and heightened listening will be explored in a low-risk environment. Have no fear, this workshop doesn’t ask for participants to be funny, only to be imaginatively open. Beginners encouraged!

About the Instructor: Amy Gascon is the Education Program Manager for the Hurt [email protected] and a cast member at the Charlotte Comedy Theater. Before moving to North Carolina, she was the Training Center Director for The Comedy Project and an alumni of the Second City Conservatory.
