Intro to Improv - One-Day Workshop

ABOUT THIS CLASS

New to improv and curious how it actually works? This one-day Intro to Improv class is a focused, low-pressure way to begin- no experience required.

Designed as a first step into our 6-week Improv program, this 2-hour session introduces the core mindset behind improvisation without diving into long-form structure or advanced techniques.

In this class, you’ll:

• Learn the foundational ideas behind improv, including Yes, And, listening, and collaboration
• Discover how anyone can do improv-no “being funny” required
• Play fun games, exercises, and simple scenes that build confidence and connection

This class is meant to help you loosen up, build trust, and get a clear sense of how our full program works-while leaving plenty more to explore.

Taught by experienced Improv-LA instructors with credits from SNL, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Second City, Groundlings, UCB, and more.

Class Size: Limited for individual attention
