Intro to Gelli Plate Prints

Learn a new, fun, and easy printing technique! It’s great for making unique textures and patterns. Using ordinary acrylic paint, rolled onto a gelatin slab, we will make layers of color and texture using simple masking, stencils, plus found and natural materials to create rich and exciting monoprints. This is a spontaneous process that creates surprising one-of-a-kind works of art.

No experience necessary! Beginners welcome!

All materials supplied; if you would like to bring things to create texture with, think flat: leaves, feathers, bubble wrap, textured fabric. We’ll have an assortment on hand for you to use.

We will have some snacks and beverages to keep up our creative energy! Feel free to BYOB
